The OXY-4 ST oxygen meter is designed for high-sensitivity applications, fully compatible with PSt7 sensors (detection limit 15 ppb, measurement range 0–100% oxygen). Powered conveniently via USB, it integrates seamlessly into laboratory and process environments.
With PreSens Measurement Studio 2 software, users benefit from advanced features such as individual temperature compensation for each channel, as well as additional pressure and salinity corrections for uncompromising accuracy.
Supporting up to four independent sensors simultaneously, the OXY-4 ST delivers reliable, real-time oxygen measurements for demanding research and bioprocessing applications.

Food & Beverage: Oxygen Permeation Measurement in PET Bottles

Non-invasive oxygen sensors measure both in liquid and in gaseous (headspace) phases. They perform through transparent materials up to a thickness of 10 mm and even through slightly opaque packaging. The measurement is carried out by firmly holding the fiber optic probe against the side of a PET bottle where the sensor spot is positioned. Adjustable mountings and bespoke fixtures are available. This system allows even the parallel measurement of different bottles as the fiber can be moved from bottle to bottle.

 
 
 
 

Long-term Measurements in Soil

PreSens offers dipping probes for oxygen measurement that does not consume oxygen. Due to their small dimensions they do not disturb the flow and mass-transport and consequently display the in-situ oxygen concentration. As minisensors from PreSens are long-term stable they can be implanted in soil for many years! With this new method the process of soil aeration, which is very critical for plant productivity, can be investigated.
